Q. What do I have to do to get a free card?
You have three choices. You can;
- Tell GrammaBurp about a random act of kindness you performed.
- Tell GrammaBurp about a random act of kindness you witnessed.
- Promise GrammaBurp you will perform a random act of kindness.
The SUBJECT of the e-mail should say: "FREE CARD" and don't forget to include your name & mailing address.
(No, we won't give out your e-mail or send you any spam ... promise.)
Q. That's it? What's the catch?
A. No catch. We've got some overstock (a few hundred cards; some extras,
some no longer in the line) thought we'd try to do some good with them. FREE while supplies last or through 2009, whichever
happens first.
Q. Do I get to pick the card?
A. Sorry, that'll be random too. ;-)
Q. Do I have to pay shipping?
A. Nope.
Offer good while supplies last. One per person. Open to US residents 18 years of age or older. Card will
be mailed to a USA address only. GrammaBurp will not be held liable for lost or misdirected US Mail or e-mail.
Thanks! & TELL YOUR FRIENDS!
We may even list your RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS here;
Barbra in Massachusetts: I'm recycling cards, buying
breast cancer postage stamps & giving away free stuff to nice folks who do good things.
Jessie in Michigan: "Every time my husband sees
a person stuck in the snow he pulls over to help push them out. Lol, I know that liking to help others out is a wonderful
trait, but he managed to lose his wedding band not once, but twice this winter when we were stopped to help strangers! Luckily
he managed to find it the second time. Now when he pulls us over to help, I have to make him give me his ring before he gets
out to push." |
Azzurra in Oregon: I try to spend a little time each
day (or sometimes just a couple times a week...) either emailing my local city and state government elected officials
or signing free online petitions about issues I care about; be it civil, animal or environmental rights!! Thanks!!
Pamela in New Jersey: "Good morning. I am a volunteer
for my local animal shelter and carry candy with our logo on it and try to spread to word about spaying and neutering to most
everyone I can in a nice way."
Rachel in Kentucky: "I donate to the goodwill, red cross
and do the angel tree every Christmas."
Angie in Minnesota: "As a recent surgery patient, I received
many acts of kindness and have promised myself (and you) that I will be doing some of my own in the future to repay all the
kindnesses. Thank you!"
Lyndsay in Iowa:
"I babysat for my neighbor free of charge so that she could have a night out."
Meagan in Washington: "I try to do random nice things
every day. There is a homeless guy that used to come to the mall and use his change to buy a senior priced cup of coffee once
each day. Some days he wouldn't even have enough change.... so one day ( I worked in the mall, and so saw him often) I bought
a $20 dollar gift card to the coffee shop, which would buy him almost 25 cups of coffee :) I had them save it for the next
time he came to get his coffee, and give it to him with a note that I had written telling him Happy Holidays. They said he
cried, and said it was the nicest thing anyone had done in a long time :) Made me feel amazing. It's those little things done
on a daily basis that bring good karma to my life, and make life better for everyone!"
Ann in South Carolina: "I've witnessed kindness due
to the fact that I have been laid off. I have been the recipient of kindness in the form of emotional and financial support
from both friends and family. It's a scary time for me and I don't know where I would be without this kindness!! And I promise
to repay this kindness in every way possible. I have started by helping out with running errands, babysitting or anything
else that I can to help make these people's lives easier."
Zoe in Colorado
made us LOL when she said: "I pinky PROMISE to perform a random act of kindness...."
Pat in NJ: "I Promise GrammaBurp I will perform a random act of kindness today."
Dana
in Indiana: I witnessed my sister perform a random act of kindness by passing on a free lift ticket in Vail,
CO this past week.
Jean in California: "I promise to
perform a random act of kindness."
Maria in Illinois: "Today we gave someone a ride home
from the food pantry instead of making them wait for the bus with an armload of supplies."
